Buses. When I think of buses, I usually think of a lonely place with only a few people inside waiting to get to their destination. I, myself, have never liked buses since those places aren't the cleanest places to be. However, no matter how much one dislikes the thought of riding a bus, I don't think anyone thinks of ghosts and death when they think of that word. This story, as you can tell by the title, takes place late at night, probably midnight or somewhere around that time. A man gets onto the bus and waits for a while. The bus is pretty empty. There's only a few other people with him. The bus picks up another person, who boards, and eventually, the person begins to interact negatively with our main guy. There are different versions of the story here, but they all end the same. In some versions, it's a man who accuses our man of something and challenges him to a fight off the bus. In other version, an old woman accuses the man of taking something from her purse and they both fight to the point where the bus driver orders them off the bus. Once they both get off the bus, the man demands to know why the old man/old woman accused him of something that he didn't do. The elder replied by saying, "I saved both of our lives."
When the man asked what the elder meant, the elder explained that they got a strange feeling from two very shady passengers, and kept looking back at them. The elder caught a glimpse under one of the person's trenchcoat or robe, which briefly went up. There was nothing there. Of course, this person could have been an amputee that lost their legs in an accident or something, but the elder wasn't having any of that, so they decided to get off the bus and bring one of the people that they knew was an actual living person. This is where the story splits, once again.
In one version, the bus disappears when they never call in. The bus and the passengers are never seen again, and no footage or trace of the bus is ever found.
In the other version, like the first version above, the bus goes missing and nothing is found for a little bit. Then, a couple days later in a lake, they find the bus. Inside are the bodies of two passengers and the driver, all of them very badly decomposed. One of the men found was unidentified. It also should've been impossible to decompose that badly and that quickly. Although it was warm/hot, and they were found in a lake, the rate of decomposition was incredible. The bus was also never found on any footage or traffic cameras. The bus could have not gotten to that location without being spotted, but there was still no footage. How it got there is unknown. Regardless, this urban legend is supposed to be true. All I can really say is that some people are just trying to help you even if you don't see it.
